I was recently banned from the official Destiny LFG server. I got fed up with the toxic people and said something bold which then spiraled into them blaming me being gay for being the reason this is happening and then they made a copypasta of something I said and made a spectacle of me in general chat. After talking to the moderator [REDACTED] that I asked for help from, they threatened to ban me for 'discouraging others from helping players' after said players acted inconvenienced that I asked a question about a legendary rocket launcher. The convo with .player was going fine at first, and then he suddenly threatened to ban me. After apologizing and telling him that I had no intentions of breaking the rules or acting out of turn they willfully kept the argument going after I stated multiple times Im not trying to argue or anything, and told them Im not going to argue about it. After I ended the conversation with that, he banned me after telling me that after the other discord users said horrible things and harassed me that one of them was ALMOST banned. I then went to the staff manager [REDACTED] concerning the issue. While nice at first, it quickly turned sour. She accused me of being arrogant towards player after I got angry that they dragged out the conversation just to ban me after giving no inclination of doing so. Eva shamed me for getting mad at the players for being toxic, after several times of being subject to toxic behavior in chat and turning the other cheek This has SEVERELY crippled my Destiny experience because I have to resort to smaller LFG servers to MAYBE find someone to raid with. I have had nothing but negative or nonexistent interactions with staff/representatives, and Im ready to speak out about it. I sherpa'd MANY players during my time in the server, i was known as a good, patient and compassionate teacher, and never had any problem before this happened. I was banned for such a little reason and the people that brought my -blam!- into general chat (I have an irl photo as my discord picture) was ALMOST banned? I hate to make it about that but it happened. Had any of my moderators in my server of comparable size made this mistake they would have been demoted instantaneously. I even expressed that I had experience moderating and even owned a discord server in the first place. I gave [REDACTED] no reason to ban me, and he ruined my chances of finding people to play with. I would like to be contacted regarding this issue, I love your game but I am beginning to despise how your moderators and managers treat us. This makes me so bitter, and I should not have to even consider posting something like this.
