@bungie Not sure if you guys pay attention to these posts but putting this up here hopefully... The upcoming Starfire protocol nerf is a bit heavy handed. I agree that every now and then there are exotics that need a little bit of balancing. But what I really dislike is that instead of buffing other exotics and making other builds possible, you just nerf something so it gets volted and never used again. Remember hoil? Probably not, because you guys nerfed it into oblivion. The same thing goes for the Nova bomb... Wjay about Chaos reach? You guys nerfed it so it basically is useless in end game content now. I don't understand why you guys create stuff only to take away any benefit from us using it. If you want warlocks to use something other than Starfire give us something else that can do decent DPS in a damage phase. Verity's brow doesn't count, it's only good in 2 encounters. Before Starfire, warlocks were hundreds of thousands behind everybody else at the end of a damage phase. I don't mind being the support class, I quite enjoy it, in fact. Warlocks, just like every other class, should have the option of not just being the support b**** running div. If you guys take nothing else away from this, please hear this. This goes for every build and character in the game. Yes, things need to be nerfed. But before you guys go on huge nerfing sprees and taking away the players favorite builds. Consider giving us more options instead of taking them away. For all the trolls I'm at the comment and tell me to switch over to the sun bracer build, because it's better anyway. What do you think will happen as soon as they Nerf the Starfire... Every warlock will switch over to the sun bracers and then that will get the banhammer. It's a never ending cycle. Create something good the Nerf the crap out of it. An additional slap in the face here... You guys never created a ornament for it. It has been ugly since day one. Funny thing is, now if we do get an ornament, it will likely never be used. @bungie I really love this game, but you've got to find a better way to handling these things. No, you can't please everybody, there will always be people who are upset with one thing or another. However, this is a running theme I have heard since the good ol' D1 days. Generally speaking, more options is the answer, not nerfing.
