I arrive 30 minutes to a whole -blam!- hour early for work. Meanwhile, my relief has came late multiple times, two of which he was 40 minutes late. If you're on time, you're late.

Being late is a jerk move, and throws off everyone’s plans. People wind up sitting there waiting for you, and then they wind up being late, and are—rightfully—angry at you for it.

4 RepliesBeing late shows your lack of concern and possibly contempt for whatever it is you are going to, or just simply that you are extremely bad at time management and unreliable. Either way, it's disrespectful.
