I never post on here but I had an idea while playing.
I believe Cryosthesia 77K would be better if the reload mechanic to activate the perk was completely removed and it functioned similar to Devil's Ruin.
Get a kill to activate perk, hold to charge the shot.
Idk, I really enjoy the gun but the whole get a kill, hold to reload to activate perk, hold to charge shot is a bit cumbersome for a sidearm.
Just take a look at Travelers Chosen, Devil's Ruin, Final Warning. They all are quick and snappy with their unique perks, as exotic sidearms should be.
Would be dope to see it get some love though.
Just a thought.
Thanks for reading.

It's just better the way it is currently. Use a reloader mod, otherwise you're throwing.

This is actually how it used to work, and it just wasn't that good. Devil's Ruin can get away with it because the charged laser doesn't require a kill and absolutely shreds. Cryosthesia, on the other hand, just doesn't feel good with the whole "fire on trigger release" thing, and the charged shot requires a kill so you can't even rely on it a lot of the time. Trust me, it is better now then how it was before (AKA what you are suggesting).

That was its original iteration, but I hated it. It felt so inaccurate at times that I felt I was hitting ghost bullets. Fire on trigger release really only works on Devil's Ruin because it can fire the beam whenever, but Cryosthesia did not and only after a kill.

I would rather they make Devils Ruin like Cryo lol. I hate that I can't just hold the trigger for full auto and switch modes to do the fusion shot. It actually deters me from using DR.
