It makes zero sense why I work so hard to raise my power only for the game to tell me that there is A cap on it. In reality there is zero reason to do master nightfalls since the rewards are absolutely dog water it is not worth to grind anymore. Bungie you have killed the grind in this game to get more power. It has become truly pointless to keep playing since we are being restricted on how high we can be for content.

Yeah it’s dumb. Only regular dungeons and legend/master lost sectors don’t have light caps.

I don't mind master and higher being difficult. In some cases, legend as well. But who the -blam!- thought it was a good idea to give a patrol zone a light level cutoff?

I’m ok with it so long as they tone Legend and Master down a little. Legend content should be -10 and Master -15 on the high end. Keep the power requirements in line with other stuff, but reduce the delta. A sort of happy medium, I guess?

They're just gatekeeping more content from casual players and preventing folks from getting carried. It's what the streamers want. An inbred community of elitists dominating endgame content. How can I carry underlight clanmates through Master's during x2 XP and rewards when I'm getting screwed by an artificial underlight cap? I helped many folks last season clear Master's content and farm up more Shards and Exotics than they ever dreamed possible. The only players hurt by this change are the casuals. Inbred basement dwelling sweatlord elitists aren't even playing Master's content.

The deltas area good addition (though imo legend could go half a step downwards), it was stupid being able to overlevel master in the past.

Honestly if they kept resilience how it was in witch queen with the current difficulty of the game I believe there would be less complaints about getting one shot at least you will be at Red health rather than straight up getting killed. Emergency reinforcement should be x2 resist that way it pairs up with old protective light and well of tenacity because you still need to pick up the orb to get your armor charge

It should be optional for the tryhards. There should be a normal master and a tryhards one same with gms. Increase rewards slightly for the tryhards one so they don't cry. Problems solved.

Disagree on GMs only but only a very few select pieces of content having it absolutely. Rather than set master raids and dungeons high it should just be effective power cap for them from the raid or dungeon's normal power level. If they wanted to make GM lost sectors that guarnteed exotics I'd be all for effective power in there too. And then a select handful of secret missions or really unique content should get it on their harder version. Otherwise it needs to stay out of stuff.

As someone who has Gilded conqueror 7 times I know what it means to work hard for rewards I will never do master Nightfalls if you look at my nightfall report you will see I have more GM completions than legend or master on a grand majority of them

The reason to do master nightfalls is not being good enough to do the harder content. Just FYI. But yes, rewards need increasing for the time spent.

You can out level the campaign on normal, and the normal mode raids haha

GMs and Master raids. Means the latter has to be better curated so as to be actually manageable as opposed to “eh just over level”
