I myself and a ton of other people have made various posts on various forums for the last year, about the game either freezing up and having to be force closed through the taskmanager, or the game just freezing up for a second and then closing without error. This can happen multiple times a day, in Orbit, in my inventory, in cutscenes, during combat. No rhyme or reason, it just goes pop.
It has not been acknowledged once. I won't go through the effort of linking dozens of posts, I will simply link my own post from Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/11mzg3u/frequent_freezing_andor_crashing_seemingly_out_of/
It has all the necessary information of my PC components and the steps I've tried to solve this issue.
The issue only appears in Destiny, every other game runs fine.
From my research online, it seems like it mostly affects AMD Ryzen builds. BIOS is fully up to date, so is every driver.
This might only affect a fairly small amount of players, but being completely ignored, when it is clearly happening to multiple people in the exact same manner, feels disrespectful.
Literally just google around for the symptoms I described. Ignore all the useless generic articles and look for the forum posts. There are dozens of people from throughout the last year.

Edited by Dude_Flash: 3/10/2023 12:57:13 AMI was about to make a post about how I FIXED this issue for me, then i saw your post - my game would freeze / hang / crash if i played for abour 6 hours-ish, without fail, EVERYTIME! I tried multiple MBs, CPUs, GPUs, RAM tons of fresh installs on windows 10 and 11, new drivers , old drivers etc etc.... i was testing on high end gear, intel 12 and 13 gen 900k CPUs - a Ryzen 9 as well - 3080 and 4090 GPU - gigabyte - MSI motherbaord ..... nothing worked... except an older 2080 card i had, never crashed - 14 hours no problem - SO THEN i put all my original parts back together when it would act up -intel i9 12900k CPU, 3080 GPU, MSI motherboard, 64 Gb 4000 mhz RAM and i started capping my frame rates - BOOM!!!! 110 frame rate cap and it ran another 14 hours without a crash - i tried 90 frames first but it just was too jerky for me to play....i bumped it to 120 and it crashed.... BUT 110 still looks good to me and no crashing... try it - hope that helps
