Bungie, can we please get some swords that use special ammo?
Bungie, you make Heavy and Special ammo grenade launchers, why can't we get special ammo swords?
I like swords way more than glaives... just my personal preference.
My opinion on why swords have limited application is that they all occupy the Heavy slot where there are always better options. Swords using special ammo would get far more use in my opinion. I think we have plenty of glaives right now, how about something new like the first special ammo Sword. Please.

I was just thinking the same thing, I always wanted a sword over a shotgun. Maybe bungie could add new weapon archetypes like assassin knifes on each hand with a really small range in melee but has the ability to one shot or at least have really fast attack animations that will kill in 3 hits. As for ranged attacks it could be something like the blacktalon exotic where it sends an energy wave.
