The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction.

i have done this a few times but keep getting the same response without any explanation, like i said before i have spent a lot of time and money on this game and i feel cheated for not even being told why i have been banned, all i want to do is play destiny

the form will not give you that answer. You will have to review the Ban policies and review your system/gameplay to find that. per the appeal form [quote]PLEASE NOTE! Requests for additional information, such as the length of a restriction or reason for a ban, will be disregarded.[/quote]

but if Bungie permanently banned me then they know why, so why cant they tell? me i have no idea why i have been banned and am really frustrated at the ban appeal restriction ticket, i dont think my case has even been reviewed by a person at all

They do not release that information as it could be used to find ways to circumvent the detection systems.

Trying not to sound aggressive, but how would anyone do that, if bungie told someone they were using wallhacks in crucible or something similar how would they be able to circumvent the detection systems, and if that person were banned for using hacks they would obviously know why right? And i have not a single clue as to what could have gotten me PERMA banned, bungie just seems very uncooperative in actually wanting to review my case

That information could be used by devs to find ways around detection. Your case was reviewed, first a member of the Bungie Security team reviewed your case when whatever was detected/reported before manually placing the ban, and then your case was reviewed when you appealed to verify the ban was properly placed. They just will not reveal the cause of the ban as noted on the appeals page.

i get being time restricted for say idling or quitting crucible matches, but thats all i have ever done, and i havent even played at all last season besides doing the final season mission, it feels like im being ignored and i feel i have done nothing wrong to deserve a perma ban and i feel really bad for losing all that time and money. After going on this form, and sending multiple ban appeals it seems like my only 3 options is to keep going on forums, reddit or twitter repeating the same thing hoping i get noticed, contact a lawyer, or just give up after all the time and money i have spent on the destiny account
