How Creative is OffTopic?
Character sheet time.
Remember those?

I wanna know if you guys can still get creative, cause I sure can't!
[spoiler]I'm bored, thought about this two months ago.
Might as well.[/spoiler]
Now. I know people here can create a number of overpowered untouchable main characters that have all the anti-anti-things and cheat skills and super healing, etc. Good times.
But how well can you make an [i]absolutely ordinary person[/i] with a generally normal life? No main character. No plot armor.
I'll give y'all a setting and a lil template, you can do the rest. No word count limit, I'll read it.
[spoiler]Try not to double up on other people's details. If you wanna make more than one person, feel free. Don't spam though, I want quality and well thought out characters, not randomly generated garbage.

He first adopted the profession of fake alchemy, but soon left when he saw the interest in London river front property spiking. A few decades later and he's here now. No wife or kids to speak of, but spends a lot of time with his niece and nephews at a countryside home.

[b]Clothes:[/b] Abigail mostly wears fancy dresses, though she is terrible at keeping them clean and almost always has a stain of some sort. Proper little dress shoes, high running socks, maybe some dainty little gloves, too. [b]Profession/Education:[/b] Abigail grew up as an aristocrat, and has received many personal tutors over the years. She has a particular penchant for science, and is very bad at any sort of writing. [b]Life story:[/b] Abigail used to be the older of two sisters. Once upon a time, she and her younger sister would spend countless hours together, exploring make believe castles and dungeons--often sneaking away from their tutors to play together, much to the dismay of their parents. Two years ago, however, their home was attacked by a band of werewolves while the girls were playing. Abigail watches helplessly as her younger sister is killed before her eyes. Her parents chased the wolves off, but the girl hasn't been the same since. Abigail is a lot quieter these days. She never sneaks off to play anymore, and rarely contributes to conversations. When she does speak, her voice is frail, and hardly any louder than a whisper. She usually sits in the background, watching the world go by. A merciless, unfeeling world, that doesn't care about the girl who died, or the girl who lived.

[b]Clothing:[/b] French Napoleonic military attire (imagine the guy on the right in [url=https://images.app.goo.gl/N3XCpzuFN1KBAr4YA]this[/url] picture but without the silly hat and a coat a few sizes too big for him; also imagine him having been dragged along the road a few times) [b]Profession/Education:[/b] Drunk [b]Life Story:[/b] He claims to have fought in the war for the French, although most people who know him are aware that he’s on the run from the French military police so it’s either for stealing the uniform off a dead soldier or for straight up desertion. Will not speak a word of French ‘on principle’ but will happily sing the national anthem at the top of his lungs and will harass anyone who’s name even slightly resembles or sounds like Louix. Nobody really knows who he is or where he came from. He doesn’t seem to have any discernable accent beyond ‘not-British’ but he’s smarter than he looks so he could potentially be a spy putting on an act. This would explain his odd name (hardly French), but then who would choose such an obviously ridiculous name?He’s mostly a drifter now but he does claim to be from somewhere in northern France where he was orphaned at a young age and was forced to fend for himself; hence how he ended up in military service.

Unfortunately, it was not to be, for he ran away in his teens to join a band of pirates. Unfortunate even still, it was not a [i]real[/i] band of pirates, for none possessed the brains for navigation. Still, Colin stayed, learning how to pillage and plunder the streets of London... from the sidelines of course (he was never one to wrinkle his smooth Colburn hands). But, being the prodigal son of his story, he decided it was high time to return home in his late twenties and reunite with his family... only... Colin's family was quite dead; murdered by the likes of Vampires, Werewolves, and Ghouls: an eldritch mob as it were. With his inheritance decimated, his family deceased, and his will diminished, he set out to do the one thing he was good at. Nothing. Perhaps... perhaps one day, Colin will have a chance to prove himself, to rise as a hero among the bedraggled street urchins of a bedraggled nation... but it is not this day. Or tomorrow. Or any time soon. Colin, though reduced to societal slime, was a gentleman. And gentleman... you see... do not hunt the eldritch mob. Selah.

2 RepliesName: Rory Kirkland Age: 42 Occupation: Stay-at-home dad Rory lives a peaceful life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is married to Cheryl Weismann. (Now Cheryl Kirkland) He has 3 kids that he looks after while Cheryl makes the big bucks by being a defense attorney. The oldest one, Evan, is 10 and is often burdened by his lack of attention. The middle, Mia, is 8 and also suffers from a lack of attention, but she plans to do something about it. The youngest, Kathrine, is 4 and she seemingly gets all the attention from Rory, but is confident that that’s not true. Rory does try to spread the love, but the father and son relationship is not a one way street. Rory has 2 brothers and 1 sister, that he tries to stay in contact with, but Cheryl had to convince him to move from Maine all the way to Oklahoma so she could take that DA job. They have been married for 14 years, though the relationship has always seemed forced and strained, but Rory figures that it’s best to stick it out rather than divorce seeing as how they’ve been together for 14 years. He knows that he can’t please her at the very least. In his spare time, Rory paints and watches true crime documentaries. Even he doesn’t know why he likes them. His son plays basketball, and so while he’s at practice, Rory will go to the local bar with his buds. Seeing as how he doesn’t drink, he’s always the designated driver, which he doesn’t mind. He likes showing his love through sacrifice and giving. He likes being the character you can always rely on.
