Ok so I'm not crazy. Reading the latest article they specifically stated the community wanted these activities to be more rewarding...
But in the entire article I saw absolutely nothing mentioned about rewards. Why on earth would I ever play activities for the same awful drop rates but now it's just 3x harder...Nightfall weapon drop rates are already abysmally low. I've run Nightfalls over 25 times with no weapon drops. That is NOT ok.

Thats the problem. You only rsn over 25 times. "You need to do at least 100 runs before you starts seeing any return for your time invested" -Bungie probably.
