In need of networking help - frequently contacting Destiny 2 servers and occasional temporary disconnects.
Hi all, really hoping you can help me - I'm frequently contacting Destiny 2 Servers (we're talking every couple of minutes, sometimes), and I occasionally temporarily disconnect from the server, only to be returned in a few seconds but with no ability or super charge and only primary ammo, which is a real pain sometimes.
Rarely, I disconnect with a PLUM code, and a BattlEye pop-up. I really feel like I've tried everything to solve this:
1. My NAT type is Open;
2. I've enabled Port Forwarding for Destiny 2;
3. The Destiny 2 Launcher is running as Adminstrator;
4. The Destiny 2 launcher and D2 itself have looser Firewall restrictions;
5. I've validated files on Steam;
6. I've even used Window's ping to test my connection directly to Bungie servers:
Ping statistics:
Packets: Sent = 60, Received = 60, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 13ms, Maximum = 24ms, Average = 13ms
Everything I can think of testing is pointing towards a top-shape connection, but I'm plagued by these connection issues, and I can't fathom why.
Please, if anyone else is having the same trouble, or has a solution or advice, let me know! I'm at my wit's end, and I don't want D2 to be spoiled for me because of this, just before Lightfall.
