I feel like I've tried everything and nothing is working. I've reset my router, made sure the network ports are open changed my DNS address to the default, reset my TCP/IP, turned off UPnP, and reinstalled the game and battleye separately. And installed the game on an external drive to attempt to use the same installed version on both my laptop and desktop. This is where it gets confusing because the game successfully launched on my laptop and allowed me to play. However, I'm still getting this stupid error upon attempting to sign in on my desktop.
Both my desktop and laptop were connected to the same wifi network at the time of testing and even to the same IP address while launching the game (Manually assigned).
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi there! Please try verifying your game files. 1. Restart your computer and launch Steam 2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu. 3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button. 4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
