Hey guys,
after taking my time with the game, I ran into the following issues, inpacting overall efficiency and usability:
No fallback / no savepoint for the position in menus on leaving menu:
While I love that the controls are listed first in the side bar and the 2x tap, hold options et al., I dislike that the last opened window / submenu is not saved.
Users have to start all the way from 0 when it comes to traversing to the last point where they were at in order to try tweaking their controls, e.g. the ones for vehicles or when having scrolled down in the infantry controls.
An anchor point on the view port would be nice, that your UI would use as fallback, if the user was in this menu before closing it.
Options Menu Sorting Order / Switch Character
While in case of button customization it is great to have this segment on top of the sidebar, it would be nice if you could place the logout option somewhere else. Or at least the option to go back to the character selection screen. I use to play with several characters in MMOs and enjoy the way The Divison 1 or 2 offer it, straight in the first screen of the option menu.
That's all for now, the rest of the UI feels good in this part of the game.
Best regards.
