This isn't a complaint. The area is kind of cool, but seems pointless. Traversing it is easy enough but I'm just mystified why so much effort was put into creating an immense area with some spoilery turrets just to get to the dog after the Seraph mission ends and you have already found all the drones.
If the final door had opened and the dog was on the other side it would be enough hoops already jumped through to get to that point. It seems like a lot of unneeded development went into the area. Or maybe I'm just missing something else that is in the area.
But now the dog is freed, could we have him along on some missions, please???

I expect it had to do with trying to keep the dog a secret by making it harder to glitch into the space or go OOB to get there. If the dog was right on the other side of the door, I'm sure someone would have glitched thru in week 1 lol

I was expecting secret chests with exotic pulse ornaments but alas bungie just gives is a dog

I agree that the whole area was way under-utilized. I keep expecting to engage with a host of Fallen the closer I got to the final location, but instead all that we did encounter were turrets that were easily defeated.. Besides - just how big is this space station to have such large area?
