I looked it up, apparently October 5th was last season's grandmaster start date, so I'm guessing it just hasn't been updated, at least on my computer, since this season it's meant to start in January. For some background, I'm playing on Steam and I just downloaded the Japanese version a couple of days ago to practice (I usually play on English).
