Receiving "Match Incomplete" notification at the end of comp match where an enemy player left the game early and I completed the full game
I have been playing a lot of competitive this season with the rework to the ranking system. At least a hundred matches I think. This past week I started to encounter this issue that is degrading the experience quite heavily. Three times now when I get the notification at the bottom of my screen "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" and an enemy player either leaves or is kicked from the game due to networking, when the game fully ends even if I didn't leave at all I receive the "Match Incomplete" notification, the quitting penalty, and my competitive rank decreases. This same thing happened even when there wasn't a matchmaking issue and the entire enemy team left the game because their performance was not that great.
I understand not granting full points for fighting against a team with fewer players, but if enemy players in a fit of rage can just leave the match early when they know they are going to lose, they are essentially griefing the other team knowing they'll receive either fewer points or potentially the "quitter" penalty. This is extremely disheartening and hopefully Bungie can address this in a TWAB or hotfix update.
