Trials of Osiris Freelance should be permanent.
Freelance should be permanent for solo players and two why the heck do u have to have cross play enabled? The odds are definitely stacked against solo players. I can't level out the playing field cause Freelance isn't available to access whenever any of us solo players want,, and two I can't level out the playing field by playing against other Playstation players cause of cross play having to be enabled. Smh.

We go through a couple of games that go okay. Because of that, we think [i]"Hm. Maybe getting (insert trials loot here) won't be as difficult as I thought."[/i] You go into another game feeling good, confident and then [b]BOOM![/b] You get GODS for opponents. People who eat, drink and sleep PvP and/or people who cheat. And people like that are all you run into every game after. Freelance at least makes it more tolerable.

I’m not against good players beating bad players, but being a solo and getting farmed by three stacks is not fun. At least freelance gives you some breathing room and a chance for flawless.

I love the trials is endgame argument As if a different mode of pvp makes it any different from the others😂 Control - pvp - has stacks and god tier players Elimination - pvp - has stacks and god tier players Trials - pvp with an endgame title - has stacks and god tier players

Yup it should. And its not like you sometimes get matched against stacks and often face solos aswell. No, the matchmaking is intentionally programmed to put 3-stacks against solos. 100 %. I played around 110 matches this weekend, all solo, and i only got matched against other solos in MAYBE 4 matches. That's generous even, might have been 3. That is not a "mistake", it is literally giving stacks free wins for whatever reason Bungie has for that nonsense matchmaking algorythm. My MMR in this game is pretty high for a purely solo player (my KD is not that great but my overall performance is) My CR is at 180 and that is far above average. I should not get stomped 24/7 in trials because all odds are against me as a solo player. If someone like me can't carry in trials, good luck for average and below players. Things need to change.

Personally I'd say with the way trials is now they need to get rid of the "Flawless" requirement to go to the lighthouse. Between cross play and the open pool matchmaking it's impossible for the less skilled players to go flawless. Let's not forget that all the hackers/cheaters that are plaguing trials and competitive pvp are all pc players, cross play would've been fine so long as it was just console.

17 RepliesThey should either revert trials back to how it was in d1 (fireteams only), make freelance and flawless pool permanent or add sbmm to trials, this would stop the no lifers from resetting cards since they'll be versing equal people

If the population was healthy then l dont see an issue why they cant just have it on every weekend but last season showed how low the population was..Dont think its that high this season either

I don’t necessarily mind freelance and play freelance on the weeks that it’s available I’m just wondering why it needs to be every week? What you want to do is split the player pool in half twice. Terrible idea.

I actually just came to the forum to make this post. It is not fun at all being a solo player when you are forced to go against a full team of tea bagging try hards who are superior because they can have friends. Seriously. I want the gear and it ruins the game to have to get stomped over and over and over. It’s not fun. Just give me freelance so I can be beat by the cheaters / hackers instead of the braggadocious PvP who maniacs.

2 RepliesAgree. I played pvp with crossplay on and getting oneshot with my 100 resilience and two sniper damage resistance. I also get shot before I can see my opponent. Then I shoot I need to hit a few times before I can kill. Wouldn't it be easy for Bungie to ping all players and give everyone the same latency? With crossplay off you have to wait forever to get a match it you even get one at all. Is there really that few players playing pvp on Xbox?

Agreed. A downside to lfg for a team is that the k/d requirements don’t resemble in-game skill, because I have a .6 or something lifetime kd because of my disabled brother hopping on my account to try some raid exotics/weird rolls in pvp, and I don’t have time to explain that before instantly getting kicked!
