I can't really say much for both sides of this issue, and its been around since Witch Queen with it failing to even help the player count nor Bungie which is why I believe they can't to seem to understand what makes the community happy. I cannot stress this enough though with them being blinded by those who think they are right or that at least someone said their idea's could make the game "Fun" this game has been dipping, and continue to dip if they keep it up. If Bungie really wants its player counts to continue to grow, and not dip than they need to find common ground with both the community and the dev team. They at least shown that there was a common ground but after it was recommended for 7 years "The Whole New Shotgun Spreads" which made it somewhat to late but did bring a new fresh style for players with Shotguns. That was a common ground that both the community, and now Bungie seen as an issue with the fix finally coming in now if only they do this before Light Fall comes out (Which is way to late now unless they plan on delaying Light Fall a couple of months with an actual Event that allows Players to Witness, and Enjoy) If Bungie decided to finally find some common ground with the community with the Dev team actually taking their job seriously, and agree what actually needs to be fix compare to what doesn't than there is hope for Destiny 2. I still enjoy the game somewhat I enjoy the new lore, and the new seasonal lore that comes with the seasons however there is major flaws that Bungie doesn't look over which causes more players to leave. Huge Example of this is with the New Players because its a cycle that Bungie doesn't seem to understand I don't mind New Lights having a way to get caught up with everyone else I feel that every new player should have a chance to get to where everyone else is, and learn from experienced. However I don't feel like Bungie should punish those who've played way longer just because than the New Lights can get caught up which brings a huge flaw once those New Lights do get caught up they are now in the cycle where if they play longer like every other Destiny 2 Fan than they also get punished for playing that long. Than a new light comes on as an Alt account just so they can finally feel free from that cycle just to be placed in that cycle again once enough time has pass which than the same person makes another alt account. This flaw makes it so new lights feel ready for the new stuff yet also gets pushed around after playing long enough to even enjoy the game fully which than lowers player counts, and raises more way to make Bungie feel like they have to do something to keep players. I know already about half of the community refunded their Light Fall, and some others just quit Destiny in general if Bungie truly wants to help keep their player base up than they need to actually take action, and find a common ground with their Dev team, and the Community itself. If they want a start than I shall give them a suggestion that has been an somewhat issue for a while now which is Champions since they are all buggy with a patch having to be made soon.
