I was looking for a Legendary PsiOps LFG post and found one. The guy asked to join a party and a mic was required. He was having a hard time finding a third so we decided to duo it. We also shared the reasons for the run...
He was cursing a lot and acting toxic if not even intoxicated.
As soon as we jumped in he muted me. Couldn't hear the guy for the rest of the play. Fine, no big deal.
As the play ended and we're about to be teleported back to collect the loot I find myself removed from the party and kicked from the fireteam. Needless to say it was an empty run for me.
This happened once before after a Ketchcrash run with a LFG team.
I don't care for the fruitless run Bungie, but HOW and most interestingly WHY is this an option for a fireteam leader at the very end of a run?
I've been a long time player I'd like to keep enjoying this game.
Thank you all for your replies!!!
Yes, this is the Internet but a controlled environment after all. So, I do think it's Bungies fault that you basically end the boss and can get kicked.
I've bailed from LFGs of course, but it's hard to make the right call every time, just like in real life.
Yes, I've reported and blocked the guy.
And, yes I'm in a clan but still like to jump on LFGs.
Happy gaming y'all!!

That does sound messed up. I have joined loads of groups via LFG over the years, and in a lot of them, I rarely use my mic. I must be fortunate as this hasn't happened to me yet. I've even hosted games via LFG, but I can't recall ever removing someone from the playlist halfway through or while their picking up their loot. This is also another reason why I try and do all the seasonal stuff when their still hot, so that there's plenty of people to group up with.
