Destiny 2 SteamDeck Help
Hi!
So I recently got a SteamDeck and want to be able to play Destiny 2 on it. I know that, as it is, Destiny 2 is NOT supported by SteamDeck because you can't download the anti-cheat software to the device like you can with a PC. So anyone who tries to play Destiny 2 on the device will get banned for potential cheating. However it IS possible to play Destiny 2 on the SteamDeck...you just have to download Windows 11 onto the SteamDeck first. Then (theoretically), this would allow you to download the anti-cheat software as well, and thus let you play on the device.
My question then is to all who have already tried this method: Has it still resulted in any bans?
I am fairly new to the game, and so I don't really understand the whole "ban" system quite yet. I REALLY, don't want to get in trouble with Bungie for just [i]trying[/i] to play D2 on the SteamDeck, then being flagged for cheating and then being [b]banned for life[/b].
TLDR; Wanna play D2 on SteamDeck using Windows but afraid of potentially accidentally being banned for life and want to hear if there have been any "success" stories.
If anyone could help provide some clarity on this I'd be most grateful. If just trying to do this is gonna result in a 1 month or 2 month ban FOR JUST THE FIRST OFFENSE, then I'm not gonna even bother because that is a LONG ban and I don't treat that as a joke.
