Here's my story: I play D2 on all platforms. They are all currently linked properly with cross-play such that my PSN account character is my account I access across all platforms. That's how I want it to stay. I used to have an Xbox One and it had licenses to some of the expansions (I don't remember which ones, but a few). I just recently sold it, and next week I'll be getting an Xbox Series X. I want to buy all the expansions I'll need to play everything. So here's what I need help with:
1. Will my new xbox have access to the expansions I bought on my old one? I'm unsure because of the generational difference (xbox one to xbox x.
2. Is there any way for me to purchase TODAY the expansions I'll want access to next week when my xbox comes in. The only reason I care is that all expansions are currently on sale and I don't know how long that sale will last. I have access to my pc, phone, etc on which I can access the microsoft store- but I don't currently have access to a console.
Thanks for any help

Hi there. 1.) DLC expansions are licensed to the account that you used to purchase them with. This does not pose a problem between Xbox One and Xbox Series generations. As long as you sign into your new Xbox Series X with the same account, you should be able to redownload the expansions you previously purchased from the Xbox store. Please note that the only expansions currently available are the Forsaken Pack, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, 30th Anniversary Pack, and Witch Queen. Prior expansions are no longer available on any platform. 2.) You can buy the expansions without having a console and download them later by accessing the store from your console. Just make sure you sign into the online store and your new Xbox using the same account.
