[PvP Suggestions] Close match on team imbalance + AE condition on short height drop
- Not necessarily a big deal due to its occurence, but given that Bungie is taking Crucible into a different format in a lot of ways, there should be a fallback system for when a team has double the players and score to the opponent team.
During this IB event, I've seen people quit here and there, but sometimes I would see my team or the opponent's team lose half of its players, as one of the teams is losing. I've had a case in Cathedral of Dusk where the match started as a 4v4, and 2 minutes in, it became a +4 minute 5v2 match.
Make it so if there's no fill in after a minute, and the team composition and score is double than the opponent's, the match will promptly end similar to when a team is dominating the other. Or have/improve the mid match fill in system. Quitting penalty helps mitigate, but when there's too many players doing it still, it becomes less useful.
- Aerial Efficiency... despite the mixed reception from the community, I'll say that if it's to truly stay, then it should have a trigger (or make it more consistent if there is) for when you're falling from short heights.
After some tests in Bannerfall, Exodus Blue and Burnout, the AE impacts you no matter the height you've dropped, including heights that are half a guardan. Primaries aren't as much affected, but specials tend to lose it's accuracy by a lot.
Make it so AE impacts a guardian's accuracy after 0.5 second or 1 second in the air, to prevent you from losing accuracy by simply dropping off short heights during a firefight, while remaining true to its original intention. Plus, that amount of time should be enough to prevent abuse.
