R'kask, Offtopicans! As part of my monthly hyperfixation, I have begun to study and learn conlang'ing. It's certainly interesting, and I'm MOST certainly not very good at it. I've put some rudimentary notes down in this spoiler, so read it if you dare.
Note: I placed translations in little <thingies>, for your convience.
"Lchk'tukn tukat'rakt tch-kehkeh-at'tcht" is the name in the language, translating literally to <Man of bone; act of fight (or more closely, the single word battle); we hate>
Lchk'tukn, <Man-of-Bone> is the word to describe themselves, in the same sense that we English speakers say human. Of course, it's most direct translation is the word Skeleton.
In essence, it means Skeleton Battle Speech, or Skeleton Battle Cant officially (<we hate> is usually used to mean speaking in this language, as the language is generally confrontational.)
I promise I'm almost done ranting about this nonsense, just hold on.
The language contains absolutely NO latin symbols, which leads to latinizations of words like "lchk'tukn tukat'rakt tch-kehkeh-at'tcht" to be stupidly long. Most of the symbols representing the sounds naturally blend into each other, creating diphthongs in some cases, and in others just being stylized. It's a rough, course speech meant to confuse spies and simplify battle commands.
Anyways, some mildly interesting things have happened to me recently, but since two and a half of those reading care about my personal life, I'll just list them off quickly.
- Took a 70mph baseball right above the eye, just barely missing my actual eye, meaning I still have 2, luckily.
-Took the PSAT recently. Brainhurtow.
-Got me a physical soundboard, but the instructions were translated from Chinese, so I don't really understand what half the buttons do.
-Sailed through last quarter of school (other than -blam!- Engineering, I kept forgetting to turn in my notebook...)
I may have iterated some of this already, but that's too bad because my memory is bad so I said all that again.
A friend recently got me Total War: Warhammer 2. A lot of fun, much more so than 1, and all the old factions get a sweet revamp in 2, which is epic. Mannfred van Carstein is still a bald b!tch.
Finally, some music sh!t.
A few interesting bands I've discovered recently:
The Dreadnoughts - (idfk the genre, good luck)
Hulkoff - (Good metal, mhm)
Civil War - (Historical metal but it's not Sabaton for once)
Falconer (New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal type jazz- I mean metal)
SKYND - (Terrifying vocals, even scarier topic matter, and synths. Don't know the genre, but it's good)
And to round out my usual fractured ramblings, a nice little question:
Have y'all branched your music taste recently? Tried listening to something you've never tried, or perhaps something you've dismissed in the past? If so, tell me what genre and who, and if not, I'd recommend trying it! You might find something you like.
Also, and more importantly, how are all of you? Doing all right? School/Work going well? Drink enough water?

No, I don't drink water, fite me.
Did that baseball fracture any bones in your cranium? Either way, sounds like it hurt bad.
Learning a new language is freaking hard. Also I stay hydrated by drinking from my home sparkling water maker.
