Does anybody know if stadias destiny 2 save data will transferable once it shuts down. luckily ( no way influenced by me......honest ) my son has asked for an x box for crimbo , so after investing so so so so so much time filling my vault with lucious exotics , it would be good to know if my poor little warlock will be able to continue there fight against the witness.

There's no firm answer currently. The best thing you could do is setup cross-save and make sure your account is accessible on another platform just in case. If you're unable to do that, you'll have to wait and see what Bungie is able to come up with.
