With the Weave formally introduced in Lightfall, it is only fair to speculate where the Weave's presence in the story was hinted at throughout the franchise. We know it is a psychic matrix that is everywhere and connects all living beings together. So, it is fair to assume that various psychic phenomena within Destiny are connected to the Weave. 1. The Psions. A race with psychic abilities including telepathy, telekinesis, and psychokinetic manipulations of material Arc, Solar, and Void energies. They can perform metaconcerts, which can be opened to non-Psions, and Inotam, Oblivion's Triune, shows it can go as far as at least three individuals joining their bodies together. The Season of Risen demonstrates their power to create Mindscapes as well, neutral spaces connecting two or more minds together. 2. The Ahamkara and Worm Gods. As paracausal beings who feed upon wishes and desires through the Anthem Anathame - imposing subjective will upon objective reality - it wouldn't surprise me if the energy of the Weave is revealed to be what they partly feed upon. They connect with other minds through the Weave and bind themselves to them through the Anthem Anathame. 3. The Nine. This could very well tie into why it is on Neptune, the furthest out of the Nine, that we discover Strand in the first place. They are streams of dark matter that form a loop through being drawn into the cores of planets, and the evolution of life in the solar system is what led to the Nine "awakening". For me, this strongly implies a connection to the Weave that allows their existence to even be possible, and allows them to interact with living beings at all. 4. The Vex. Described as a meta-consciousness and a hive mind, the Weave is definitely what makes the Vex's existence possible, and we also know they are on Neptune for some reason. We also know from the Unveiling lorebook entry [url=https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/patternfall]Patternfall[/url] that the Vex began as patterns in the Garden before being cast into the material universe, as quantum fluctuations before they created the Radiolaria to be their physical substrate. Since the Weave connects all living things and is everywhere, it is possible the true form of the Vex [i]is a Pattern within the Weave itself.[/i]
