Gambit Reputation Gain is Painfully Slow - Double XP should be the new standard
Title. Gambit is miserably slow to grind up without double XP weeks, nor does it have things like GMs or Trials to give you increased reputation gains from completing increased difficulty modes. It really needs double XP to be the new standard for reputation gain.

I completely agree with this post. More xp and rep as a standard for Gambit, I’m down for it. Hell even Drifter would agree.

I am not disagreeing with except to say I have reset my rank and already guided my dredged rank only by doing the 3 per character each week for the pinnacles.

I make a point to get the gambit ornament each season. It's a grind. But I only do it on double XP weeks. Takes about 6 hours. Not the worst, but not super fun.

5 RepliesAnother season, another seasonal challenge to collect a gambit ornament for the seasons ritual weapon. Thanks, but like last season I think I will pass on this one. This playlist/mode needs a serious overhaul. Same pitiful collection of maps and a bunch of rather tiring mechanics that still heavily weight invasion above all other factors. I am hoping lightfall brings a badly needed refresh to all playlists as atm they feel like an afterthought. All the attention goes on the chosen seasons activity which is short lived.

It is exactly how bungie wants it, 1 gambit reset, 1 vanguard reset, 1 gunsmith reset, 10 crucible resets per season... Bungie wants you to play crucible, 1 year of the renewed crucible focus and it somehow still sucks... It will always suck... Comp rework will most likely fail as well...

Have not finished a reset but got a chambered/light mag/well rounded/desperado role. Good enough…I’m done with gambit This season.

I only play it properly in double xp and make sure I keep the 5 streak. Other than that it's just pointless trying to level.

Only wish they would remove the Boss shielding when the health drops under like 20% or some thing so, the shielding when it almost dead just makes some rounds last for so much longer than what they should.

2 RepliesI never understood the gambit hate tbh, I see people hate on gambit all the time but as a mode in itself which like crucible has largely been ignored, especially in the maps department I don’t really see anyone ever go into any detail on why they don’t like the mode, my average match time for gambit is almost faster than a standard crucible match.

1 ReplyClosing in on 7 resets this season just for a chance at a desperado arrowhead brake perpetual motion roll… Not one even with the extra perks. The drops are terrible. After 4 resets every weapon should drop with multiple perks I’ll wait till next season to focus it as the rng is terrible

Vanguard feels even slower it seems. We should be earning double rep for running older stale strikes. Gambit should just auto complete altogether.

Speaking of Gambit, can we discuss the fact that even though my Warlock is a Female Human that Drifter keeps referring to me as "Sister". I'm not appreciating him assuming my Guardians pronouns before we've had a conversation, or at least asking. Especially since Drifter is "Pan", figure he would be more sensitive.

Gambit. One node (technically two) for one mode. At least Crucible has options for different modes, but I still prefer Gambit over Crucible, in general. Lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eh, Gambit is nothing but an annoyance for me =/ I usually wait the last week of the Season with double Gambit EXP and grind it with a couple of Clanmates, otherwise I just don't play it. Seasonal Challanges aren't an adeguate reward to justify spending time in Gambit for me.
