Maybe I'm just not looking at the numbers right, so help me out here...
So Div is going from a 30% Weaken to 15%
In a 6-man team that basically means the Div user is indirectly contributing 30% of every one of the other 5 raid members' total dps. So assuming everyone is performing optimally, you have players 1-5 working at 100% and player 6 working at 150% (30% x 5). Sounds pretty busted when you say it like that.
Now with this nerf, Divinity is only going to contribute a total of 75% damage from player 6 (15% x 5) on top of that, Divinity still overwrites all other forms of Weaken, replacing them with a soon-to-be-inferior-in-every-way variety.
With that in mind... doesn't that make Divinity completely useless? It would be better to just run any other method of Weaken (Smoke Bomb, Child of the Old Gods, Shadowshot, Echo of Undermining, etc) Not only would these methods be more potent, but they allow player 6 to run a different weapon and contribute more to boss damage with their own heavy/Super rather than being stuck beaming the boss.
Am I missing something, or did Divinity really just get killed off in every department? It's not even the best Overload weapon now that Monarque has intrinsic Overload.
