Cursed Thrall have been bugged for some time now.
-Do not trigger weapon perks of any kind
-Voltshot
-incandescent
-dragonfly
-firefly
-kill clip
-rampage
-multikill clip
-They are not affected or targeted by any ability that isn't a general AOE ability. No jolt ability will target them, Linear actuators doesn't even know they exist, Arcbolt grenades, etc etc.
This definitely not the most unmanageable bug in the world, but for a lot of players it could be a game breaker for endgame content, and it's sort of a *major* issue for Arc subclasses during uh... the Arc 3.0 debut season so... y'all should maybe look into that.

At one time in D1 firefly and so on would proc on a cursed thrall, but it would crash your game sometimes. There was a FWC hand canon that could have luck in the chamber and firefly, and if shot a cursed thrall with that, definitely crashing your game. It's a stability fix from WAYYY back.

Their death isn't caused by your weapon, its caused by their explosion.. its annoying.

Generally speaking mob types that explode after receiving sufficient damage do not activate kill-perks or grant progress toward Bounty/Quest direct kills. Because of the self-destruct mechanic it is probably the case that these mobs are considered by the game code to have killed themselves, depriving the player of credit for having done so. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
