Hi all! I've ran into an a very odd framerate issue recently, and I feel like it's only getting worse as time goes on. My specs are the following: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.79 GHz RAM: 16,0 GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU Driver Version: 517.48 (Released 09/27/2022) OS Version: Windows 10 (64-bit) ISP Provider/Speed: 140.84Mbps Download/30.93Mbps Upload Connection Type: LAN My average framerate when playing the game is around 70fps, dipping as low as 30fps in the new ketchcrash/expedition activities. All my friends that have lower end machines get more frames than me when we're playing the exact same activities together. Most curious of all, when changing my settings from highest to lowest, the framerate *does not change at all*. Doesn't matter if I play on a render resolution of 25 or 200, doesn't matter if I play windowed on 1280 x 720 or fullscreen on 1920 x 1080, doesn't matter what settings I change, the framarate is still fluctuating around that 70 mark. The framarate cap is disabled, I dont have it capped, and even if it was, there's no reason why it should drop down as low as 30fps on a machine with specs like these. The issue is only present on destiny 2, I've tried a myriad of other AAA titles and all of them can keep a steady 150+ framerate on the highest settings. I've had help from 2 IT technicians so far who tried to throughly troubleshoot the issue with me and both came back having no idea why destiny 2 is doing what it is doing. All my pc components are working exactly as they should, there's no processes in the background hogging resources that could tank performance and my component temperatures are more than okay. I really hope someone can give me some insight or at least tell me I'm not the only one having this issue, because the irregular framerate is really making it tough to play newer activities.
