I was able to play Destiny 2 cleanly 12 hours ago. Each activity was wonderful to explore.
After the said 12 hours without changing anything on the PC, Destiny 2 still starts cleanly up to orbit. I can also look at everything there, inventory, maps, settings, Everversum.
But as soon as I start an activity, the timer expires and you fly into the activity, the game closes and I'm back on the desktop with no error message.
As already mentioned, nothing was changed on the PC in the last 12 hours.
Now I've already reinstalled Steam, Destiny 2 and graphics drivers. None of that helped. Furthermore, I have also closed all tools and programs in the background to rule out problems there.
I am thankful for every help
This is my hardware and software
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000
GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 64
SSD: 1x Crucial 275GB, 1x Seagate 2TB
Windows 10 Pro 21H2 ... freshly installed on 09/24/2022
Edit #1 ... After a fresh reinstallation of Windows and graphics drivers was unsuccessful.
Game still closes when starting an activity and I'm back on the desktop
Edit #2 ... I borrowed a Destiny 2 / Steam account to test and it worked.
With the borrowed account, I was able to cleanly load into activities and fly on planets.
Result of the test, it's not due to the players not being able to load into activities, it's the account frozen in orbit.
Edit #3 ... I've really tried everything I can try. But there is only one conclusion left, it must be the account.
Even after the COMPLETE setup of my PC with Windows, all current drivers, Steam and Destiny 2, the game closes and I'm back on the desktop when starting an activity.
