We can acquire ascendants with the help of a dozen prisms. But why can we not dismantle the ascendants to gain prisms, shards etc? In doing so, master nightfalls would have another advantage besides acquiring ascendants. Of course, when you dismantle; you should gain 6-7 prisms, not 10. In the end, it is a dismantling.
