Lost sectors are the stupidest part of the solo pve experience right now.
Explain to me the incentive of lost sectors.
Exotics, right? For me I made a warlock for the first time to do the Osteo Striga and Necrotic Grips void warlock build. When I made that character I had no idea how hard getting those stupid gloves would be. And I still haven’t gotten them. In fact, I’ve run every legendary lost sector that had arms for the past 3 weeks. Not a single drop, not even an exotic I didn’t care about. So getting into my point lost sectors are too hard to solo and get no real reward consistently. Especially with how large loot pools for lost sectors have gotten and will continue to get. And you could say “Do a master.” It’s not consistent there either! And it’s so much harder to a point where it’s not fun anymore. And some players that have all the time in the world and don’t have things like school may be able to 2:00 minute a master lost sector but for a majority of guardians that isn’t exactly viable.
So my rudimentary solution is to cycle out what is in the lost sector, either having some exotics be available at one time to allow for focusing on a specific one; OR you can move old lost sector exotics to world drop/Xür/exotic engrams. The most dedicated players will go for it asap while it’s still lost sector exclusive but for all us plebeians there’s hope when it gets moved to a world drop. This could be completely wrong and there truly is no hope for me besides sucking it up and getting good. But I really don’t have time for that and I think plenty of people agree.
Bonus round: all the problems could also be solved by boosting drop rate, just a thought.
