I would like to remove my steam account from my bungie account whilst maintaining my in-game progress, as my steam account has been hacked. Please contact me asap in private to discuss further solutions

No can do. Bungie will not forcefully remove an account from cross save. They do not store our login information. You will need to contact steam to try and regain control of your account.
