It could be just me who feels stasis a bit less powerful after light 3.0 changes. I'm enjoying light subclasses. And even when beyond light came out and till now I've been a night stalker no matter how many subclass builds i made for myself. But now, in the present. I honestly at the beginning, i felt like light 3.0 is way powerful. But then i was like no. Its right there. May be they'll tune some annoying things happening in pvp like they always do but most of the part. They're really well done. But looking at stasis now... I barely feel powerful anymore. And i think stasis should be buffed here and there so that it can be on par with our light 3.0 subclasses. And it's purely my opinion, feel free to poll and post ur opinions too. Have a good day guardians.

Shadebinder is one of the strongest and highest skill cap subclasses in the game in PvP. Revanant and Behemoth both needs help. Silence and Squall is fine, I guess. But the neutral game is gutted. The nerfs to how slow works killed it because the class I built off building slow stacks - double shuriken needs to be a freeze again - Bakris needs a look at - The gloves (can't remember the name right now) need a look at - a second roaming super option Behemoth is just in a bad place all around - super needs help. It's easy to avoid and out run - the slide needs to be reverted back - Icefall Mantle needs a rework - more stuff

Edited by UnspokenONI: 9/11/2022 1:22:43 PMStasis rn needs the following new supers, nades, and melees (and mods and perks) this would very nice update.
-
Maybe the titan one, he's a bit slow and weak, silence and squall is pretty good from what I've seen, and the warlock one is great, maybe even too strong, the shots from the staff track so well and the range is massive, the AoE of the blast might need to be toned down a bit, and make it easier to break out of frozen, "double tap b" but here I am having to spam for 2 second to get out
-
Non-Warlock* Stasis needs buffs. Warlock is arguably silver or bronze in the tier list for PvP behind Striker a d MAYBE Gunslinger, if you're able to hit and capitalize on freezes. Revanent and Behemoth both need some help, though.

Edited by Astrosa: 9/12/2022 2:41:42 AMStasis warlock is fine
-
Behemoth Titan is the only stasis that needs a buff in pvp it’s F tier
-
Honestly only titan. Revenant and shabinder are still pretty good with the right builds. Specially shadebinder

Not really, in my opinion… https://imgur.com/a/wtcFYpO

Edited by Duvain-4: 9/12/2022 1:37:30 AMHunter:
-melee ability: utterly usless. They nerfed the damage of them, then they removed the tracking. Just isnt in a good place. Fix? Return tracking to original state, or allow both melees hit to freeze. -super: its fine. does its job. -other: 1: the freeze when dodge aspect is kinda usless. Cant think of the last time it was used in pvp, even with radiant dance machines it still takes 3+ dodges to freeze a enemy. Fix? make 1 dodge=50% of freeze progress. This would allow us to sorta build into it with the double dodge chestplate for a full freeze. Anf maybe give dance machines a use lol. 2: Hot topic! Shatterdive! Yeah it was flipping op, but honestly, if they made shatterdive have a cooldown, or a delay in grenade regen after shattering to reduce its fast repeatability would make the 1 shot shatterdive be acceptable.
Warlock
-melee ability: the ranged freeze its actually not bad. its pretty good, same for the freezing rift. Works well with the seekers that can be applied. -super: works just fine i think. Does a good job, has great pvp usage. -other: idk, overalll warlocks the best stasis currently i think. The turrets help its alot in pvp, and basicly carry it in pve, without those turrets idk why a warlock would run stasis in a pve activity.
Titan
-melee ability: its... ok. Not as powerful as the new light 3.0s, just like the hunters. Could use a buff. -super: literally fists of havoc, but ice. Sad but thats just what it is. Better for shutting down other supers though because of its freezing effects though so at least its got that going for it. -other: idk, didnt use titan stasis fragments/aspects much.
well, thats my thoughts.

Edited by Spectra: 9/13/2022 7:50:25 AMIn pvp all 3 are strong. Warlock has the enhanced coldsnaps/turrets and can freeze with their rift and melee. Titans can create their own cover to close in on enemies. Enhanced slide and a melee that can be used as a dodge (don’t hold the button, just tap it). Can freeze with a slide melee aswell. Probably the best subclass for smg play. Hunters have the bakris dodge, enhanced grenades and shatterdive (when in air, quickly return to the ground). Duskfields can deny a large area and have a very short cooldown. It’s also a good counter to glaives. And glacier grenades, while not as good for causing damage as they once where, they are still good and are versatile. They can be used to create cover or to get new angles on enemies (like heat rises).

Iam just gonna say, most likely user error. Shadebinder is definetly the strongest out of the 3. But all of em are pretty good. You need to build right with them. For hunter bakris is still nasty. For titan running antheus or "the cool aid man" build with icefallmantle is great(it got me 2 we ran out of medals). Warlock can kinda run anything.

I mostly disagree, its in a good state but I'd like the freezing to be upped just a tad. They should make it like Solar's Scorch and Burn. Apply 'Chill' stacks through various means and eventually you'll cause 'Freeze'. Which is actually how it works right now but its not as clear as Scorch.

Edited by Darth45789: 9/13/2022 3:37:52 AMRevenant
Make glacier grenades freeze again. A shuriken and dodge should also freeze. I’d almost say let two shurikens freeze. Buff Shuriken damage. It does what? 30 damage. That’s how much one of the trackers of Celestial Fire does.
Behemoth
I don’t even know what to do about Behemoth.
Shadebinder
Somehow avoided being nerfed into oblivion like the others despite it being the best one since release
After playing IB as a stasis lock, not only did I finally learn how all its aspects and fragments work, be blessed by rng for a good enough armor set to go with my playstyle, and reset my rank twice, I found out Stasis Warlock is definitely either the top Warlock sub or close to it. I usually go Voidwalker, and I feel like it’s the baseline for how Warlock should be. Stasis and Solar are definitely above it once you get used to them. For Stasis, I’ve got all my stats at either tier 7 or 8, except mobility is at 3. Using rift to freeze is really good, the super is strong as long as your not charging into the whole enemy team at a distance, and osiomancy are great exotic gauntlets
-
They all literally need another super besides their original to spice them up, the fragments and aspects are in a good spot. Also please let me pick up a diamond lance in my behemoth super
-
In trading card game terms- Stasis is a control deck and all people want to play is beatdown.
-
Stasis Warlock is in a great spot.
-
Something that could be nice for a stasis update could be adding a new grenade thats like a instant shatter on impact. Does moderate damage, and applies a low amount of slow to effected targets. Think one reason stasis lags so far behind is it cant damage. Its all based around freeze which is so short now it doesnt matter in most use cases. So a few damage related abilities would be neat.
-
The only changes I’d make: Revenant Shuriken - slow duration is increased even further by Whisper of Durance. This applies to both PvE and PvP. Basically this ability gets a larger boost from the fragment when equipped. Behemoth Titan - Shiver Strike melee can travel further - Glacial Quake melee now 1-shots and applies slow for a longer duration. - Slightly reduce cryoclasm lockout duration. You can’t buff Stasis Crystals for titans without making Shatterdive a thing again. Going with making their melees more viable is better. Revenant gains a tool that helps them keep enemies from escaping. Glacial Quake gets a way to actually kill enemies now. Cryoclasm doesn’t feel quite as bad anymore.
-
It's the best counter in the game to light 3.0
-
Good. I never want Stasis to be meta in PvP ever again. In fact, nerf it again.
-
I’m getting frozen enough in PVP. It’s fine.
-
It's not supposed to be amazing coolness speddy sped. It's a trump card.
-
I main Stasis, and it's fine.
-
I agree, but... The Warlock is very powerful in PvE and PvP. One of the best. The Titan can make specific builds that make it's passive game incredible, the super leaves something to be desired. Hunter isn't worth using over any of the Light based subclasses. The shurikens were nerfed too hard. Often I throw one when I want to do a second melee but the person backed up a step, and the shuriken does significantly less damage. The prime/detonate feature Stasis introduced feels awful now. Too much set up when you could just shoot them with a primary.
-
I wanna say yes, but there's some niche builds that are somewhat strong.
