KF in modern Destiny 2? Hell yes. This is how you do justice to one of the finest raids ever made. As a Warlock main with a bzillion hours under my dress, there's plenty about the last two seasons I seriously dislike. But being able to enjoy this raid again with my friends (and modern mechanics/relevant rewards) is just outstanding.
I hope no one at Bungie is reading this today because it's Labor Day <3 cheers

I agree, the small changes to KF (dps oryx, doing golgoroth normally) make it a super enjoyable raid, it’s not overly difficult but does need your focus in most encounters. Also glad to see the loot pool being really good gives it more incentive to do. Hope WoTM is just as good.

Is this a joke? You are a 1570 with ONE King's Fall clear. How can you go off about how great it is if you barely have any experience with it what so ever? I'm not disagreeing with the fact King's Fall is great. I just don't think a 1 clear is the best person to tell how good or bad it even is.

The lfg posts are halting my progress. KWTD in nearly every single post. Ran it up to oryx with prob 2 of the best Sherpas I’ve ever met on destiny but had to dip for a haircut but il just have to fall lucky and wait for another group who does not post KWTD to finish Oryx. Must have 10 completions.🤦♂️

It is a fun raid, and although I did it only once in d2, it is definitely easier then on d1.(although it has been a 6 years so I might be mistaken) The fact that you can use weapons to damage /kill oryx makes it so much more forgiving /easier. And less platforms to stand on make it a lot safer. I had a lot of fun and that is what matters in the end.

It’s very fun. I had a blast doing it. My fireteam was a lot more patient with me doing kings fall than the one I ran VotD with so that probably made it more enjoyable
-
Gotta love it, I never actually beat kings fall in D1 even though I did all the other encounters. Seeing Oryx in D2 is still chilling to this day. One of my favorite boss designs in gaming history.
I’m also definitely not biased just because I finally got a raid exotic within 2 weeks of the raid launch
Best raid ever

VoG too. They've done a good job of bringing these raids back with improved mechanics & visuals.
-
It's much better. Warpriest is more of a challenge. Just that Golgoroth is nearly unchanged, the beloved 1 orb strat... anyways Oryx is gladly no longer a forced-4 phase. The lighting is gorgeous.
-
IMO it's 10x easier than it was in D1.
-
I never did KF in D1, so I can't compare this version to that one, but this revised edition was a blast. Maybe a little too easy, but I'm not complaining. I'll take the Touch of Malice and be happy.
-
Agreed.Loved it in D1,great to see it in D2 just wish it had the auto rifle.
-
playing with friends..... yes. LFGing..... no. The toxicity is ridiculous right now. Just ran a full run in 56 minutes and the host was acting like it took forever and kept blaming people for making mistakes. Some idiots just can't have fun in this game. It makes me want to never LFG again.
-
I like it but it so stupid that even an elementary school kid can do it
-
Standing on plates, the raid. It's the easiest raid in D2 history so far.
-
I’m terrible at it so I can’t really give much input. I loved the d1 kf but haven’t been able to find a team that’s willing to allow me to participate to completion in d2.
-
Absolutely -blam!-, leaving my rewards and loot up to rng? I just want the armor and I haven't gotten a single piece other than a cloak and chest piece in the three weeks its been out, they either need to make it farmable or -blam!- off. Like I know they care sooooo much about the numbers of players doing it, but its honestly turning me away from the game
-
I finally completed it yesterday. The rewards were a little disappointing though.
-
I need to get a run in at some point soon and at least it’s a raid I know since I have an OG completion from when it came out.
-
I can definitely lend a hand with anyone looking to get a raid done.
-
My only complaint is that the new Oryx DPS mechanic is a little awkward, since he just floats there, letting you DPS him with his chest open. Other bosses it was a weakness thing that they used and you can exploit, here it's just a damage point that is on Oryx that Oryx wants you to shoot. Scourge final boss was a proper stun, the servitor couldn't do much and was stunned until it could get a hold of its bomb again. You had to weaken Rhulk to damage him, and he became more aggressive. Oryx just floats there like "come on down to Oryx's shooting gallery, put in your blights and I'll let you shoot my chest for a fixed amount of time!"

I read the title as “kings fall return status: burger”.
-
not warpriest. the changes to the the buff are awful.
-
As a Warlock main with a bzillion hours under my dress...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wouldn't call it a "banger"... it's an alright raid overall. There are a few changes the same areas of frustration are still there.
