On Friday, my friends and I (like many others) went for a Day 1 completion of the reprised King's Fall raid. We ultimately finished the raid in a "quick" 9 hours (https://raid.report/pgcr/11398545808), then went on to complete the entire challenge mode in ~6 hours (https://raid.report/pgcr/11401721922). We only went to orbit between the normal run and the challenge run and completed everything well before contest mode was over. One of us even streamed the majority of the run on twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1573213838 and https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1573729847).
Normally, we would have been rewarded the Day 1 emblem for doing all of this; however, for some reason, the game did not give us credit for the Warpriest challenge. You can see in this clip that we indeed killed the boss, which revived one of my teammates, but then we failed the challenge immediately after that. The game then wiped us well after the boss was dead. Then, the game progressed us to the next checkpoint (see this clip). We noticed that we didn't get credit in the Day 1 triumph, but we couldn't go back to redo the Warpriest challenge, so we continued on, thinking everything would work out. When we ultimately completed Oryx challenge, we were disappointed to find that we weren't awarded our Day 1 emblems.
We noticed that there were some other bugs in the Warpriest challenge (e.g., not giving 5 seconds to steal the buff), so perhaps this is another bug (although I don't believe I've seen anyone report anything like this on the forums or reddit). We are hoping that someone at Bungie could go through these clips and give us credit for the challenge, so that we can get the Day 1 emblem that we all worked really hard for. Thanks in advance. (I can provide Bungie names if need be)

Edited by xbroggiex: 8/30/2022 8:32:55 AMmfw there is people in this thread excusing buggy game design lol. I think its due to the Aura of the Initiate actually lingering for like 2 seconds after it should be gone that allowed your team to finish the last 2-4% of Warpriest healthbar while the player in the clip died due to not swapping.
