Aesthetically its great, but that's about it. There is one of the new weapon that's worth considering, an INCREDIBLE grind in the form of Dares weapoms, some of the worst Trials and IB weapons we've seen, and ridiculous weapon patterns grinds right out of the gate (seriously, craft three unique seasonal weapons in the first weeks challenge? The amount of grind to get even one of these patterns is long, let alone 3). There are even some simple things that feel wrong. Why is the new linear fusion arc when Stromchaser just came out? Why is there no way to guarantee Dare patterns? Why is there a quest for the two new world drop patterns, but none for any other? Why isn't the relic placing explained to the player outside of a challenge? Combine that with more disappointment regarding the complete demolishing of Warlock's identity yet again, Hunters getting yet another invis cheese exotic after we just got finished nerfing the last one, Titans being pretty much the only class to recieve significant changes while simultaneously getting an exotic that is just a worse version of an exotic they already have, no arc armor, and a plot that feels like a filler arc, Season 18 is just not off to a good start. I'll be around for this season and 19 as I've already purchased them, but unless Lightfall's seasonal structure is changed for the better then I don't see myself coming back for many more seasons beyond the occasional check up.
