First, this is just my own opinion. I'm open for discussions. Not saying I hate these changes but just disagreeing with some of them. I respects everyones else's opinion if they are different from mine.
A few reasons why I'm worried about PvP (at least for a while after launch of Arc 3.0)
1. More focused on abilities rather than gunplay.
2. For Arc 3.0, all classes are getting the Ionic traces (Which was supposed to be only for Warlocks and doesn't seem fair since Warlocks seem to be getting the least amount of Arc changes compared to Titans and Hunters) So it would've been fair to only let Warlocks keep it instead of everyone having it.
3. Like Void and Solar, everyone getting all grenades which I do not like at all. Because a lot of us besides myself are used to using the grenades that each class used before 3.0 changed it up.
Especially with Arc where both titans and hunters will be able to use the "storm grenade" (Which is why it makes sense for it to used by Warlocks cause of their super, which is called "Stormcaller"
Yes, I know at this point that nothing to be done to change them back because of the fragments that will change how certain grenades will work for each class.
I really wish grenades were not shared across all classes because like their own supers and class abilities, their own grenades are supposed to define each class for what they can do (each grenade being different). And trying to use a hunter grenade on a warlock is so weird cause of how your warlock throws it compared to the hunter.

Edited by cycofreak3: 9/1/2022 12:55:34 PMIt doesn't matter, special spam still exists to counter everything anyway. Failing that, just camp with your whole team because that's all we do now apparently. No special? Camp then die for more special.

Cant say much for PvP because I dont play that much. As far as Ionic Traces, think of it as something akin tsoo healing and devour from solar and void 3.0. Warlocks will likely end up being the best class at generating that ability. The reason I say this is if you read Hunter aspects, none of them mention anything regarding generating ionic traces. So that class will likely have to rely on fragments to do so. As far as gernades, I think its a positive change. So many times there was a best gernade to use for every subclass and at least one class seemed to always be at a disadvantage missing that gernade. It just felt bad. I get it doesn't make gernades "unique" anymore, but there are still different class and melee abilities on top of different play and build styles to give each class a unique feel.
