Please add the option to change gender Bungie!!
I think players should have the option to change the gender of our character in destiny 2, maybe even the look of out characters as well. Destiny 2 is undoubtedly one of the most popular MMORPGS in 2022, so why is such a seemingly simple option (that many other MMORPGS have) not available to the player? Even if it costed money to change my character, I would. I really want to change the gender and look of my character, especially considering I made my character back in destiny 1 when I was like 12-13. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement into the game, but it doesn't come off as something that would be very difficult. It's truly a shame that Bungie has never (to my knowledge) talked about this subject or ever mentioned the addition of something like this. I would WITHOUT a DOUBT pay to change the look and gender of my character, so please Bungie, if not for the community at least do it to make some extra easy cash!!

I believe it’s too late for Bungie to implement this within D2. As light fall is growing nearer and the final shape is well from a year and a half from now. Maybe within their new IP “Matter,” they’ll finally implement more character creation settings. And allow us to add and change a number of aspects and details on our players. With the ability to change them at any time we want. Not to mention, I would’ve enjoyed it if my titan could’ve had a full spartan beard. But I guess I’ll remain beardless ): ….

Good post! I hope they build it into the game. We can customize what armor we wear, the color it is, and now weapon crafting, to some degree. Also Bungie does like to post about being inclusive. Many games like you talked about can do this. It would be a nice update, compared to deleting and starting over. One suggestion, maybe find a way to connect Bungie directly if possible. It’s definitely a good idea.

We’ve been asking, begging, and making deals with the devil for years just so that Bungie can introduce post character creation appearance changes. I’m highly confident that Bungie tried to implement it and just gave up then shelved the idea permanently
