Bungie thank you for acknowledging this archetype is underperforming, but these things need wayyyy more help to be viable.
What needs to happen is either:
- Even more stability + Damage/TTK increase
- Or increase RPM to 390 like Vex Mythoclast.
6-12 stability will do nothing lol.
-
They said the damage was fine And honestly I agree with them with their big issue is being unstable ...they are big and slow ...they should be accurate Also wanna wait till its out before saying it need more ?
-
I think people just don't like slow firing weapons, the most popular archetypes are the highest ROF
-
Why not wait and see how the changes work before asking for more. It would be too easy for Bungie to make a weapon class far to OP so a buff then maybe another later if needed is a better plan.
-
Yeah, I'm in agreement. Although I'm iffy on buffing 360s to 390 like Vex, since that'd just mostly invalidate Vex without also buffing it. The 15 zoom on it makes it so it roughly ties with Thorn for how far it'll go before Falloff, slightly more since the Falloff is slightly less steep. I'd say all ARs should get range on par with where HCs are at, and slight RPM boosts of 10-20 depending on where that'd put them for TTK. So Rapids would generally hit mid to high 20s, Adaptives in high 20s, low 30s. Precisions in low to mid 30s, and High Impacts in about 120 HC territory. Probably also have the damage Falloff be pretty steep with that.

It needs to kill in 1 less bullet and get the stupid aim assist falloff removed. You have this Auto Rifle archetype that's wants to be used at longer ranges but because of aim assist falloff starting so soon, you will get ghost bullets that don't register even though your reticle is on target.

That's like a tier up on some of them. That does a good amount. Let's get our hands on them first, savvy,?
-
Definitely need a damage buff

This is a lot of judgement to just some text. You haven’t even felt the changes yet and you are thirsting for a better buff. High impact AR’s don’t suck, the best rework for any AR is flinch. They receive a decent amount (fine) but they apply basically 0. If you are getting flinched by an AR it is sweet business or absolutely nothing else. High impact = greatest impact archetype which should be highest bullet stagger value for AR’s (rapid fires flinch the most and it is depressingly awful)

Not to mention 450s are still absolute crap. Only reason to use 'em in higher end content is to stun champions and then never use it outside of that.
-
Tbh all it really needed was a buff in its crit multiplier.
-
That stability buff will make them a lazer
-
When will the buff go active?
