First off, let me clarify a few things. - I am always [b]careful[/b] with my passwords/account info, and never share them with anyone. - I have never participated in account recoveries or anything of the sort in the past. - Only my Destiny characters were touched which is strange, and my PSN seems to be otherwise fine since I changed my password and everything as soon as I discovered this abnormality. Now, as for what happened: One day, when I logged onto my PS4, it was a different person's account. My old characters were nowhere to be seen, and when I try signing into Bungie.net here with PSN it takes me to a Bungie account I didn't even recognize instead of my old one. Even after I changed my PSN password, its still linked to the unrecognized account and I cannot access my old characters, since I have to apparently 'authenticate' the other two platforms he's linked to on the Bungie account, neither of which I have access to. I've read the terms on cross-save and heard that Bungie is not responsible for any leaks of password/account info, but can they at least unlink my playstation from this account so I can recover my old characters? I really don't know how this happened - I live alone, and there is literally no one who could possibly have gotten access to my passwords. I've spent hundreds of dollars on my account. I don't want to lose it because of an unexplained issue I am not even aware of. Can anyone please help me? The unrecognized Bungie account has been banned as of present. I can still login to it, but when I tried to post on the forums, it told me the account was banned. I suspect I wasn't the first victim of the owner, and he has been banned for these reasons. However, I still cannot recover my old PS4 characters.
