Are the usage of VPNs bannable? Internet got sunset recently
Recently Indonesia has issued a wide ranging blanket ban on a large amount of the wider internet, sites and apps that didn't register to the government's database are now inaccessible, including but not limited to steam, paypal, and destiny's servers.
With half of my internet sunset i turned to vpns to help me access the game, and i am unsure on whether or not the usage of a vpn is account bannable. Far be it from me to ask bungie to adhere to the power trip of an overreaching small country lol so.
Pretty please? i've been looking forward to it and i don't want to miss the upcoming day 1 of the redacted raid

Using a VPN for legitimate purposes is basically indistinguishable form using it for traffic manipulation purposes. Technically, it's a bannable offence (something something, gaining an unfair advantage), but in reality, I doubt anyone would have ever been banned for using a VPN, so you should be good.
