Game freezes out randomly, someday it keeps happening, someday it doesnt at all
This is the full story, in details, pretty messy sorry :
It started randomly like 1 months ago, a thursday night, and since then it kept happening frequently, especially during the starting screens. It felt like an old motor that you had so start a few times before it really gets going. (At this point I had already tried reinstalling the game, verifying the files etc)
Then it started getting worse and worse, but finally I stumbled upon some advice : 1) resetting graphic softwares [Win + Ctrl + Shift + B keyboard] but it didnt seem to help. 2) I tried Hardware Acceleration in my graphic parameters and it seemed to work for a long while...(Low number of crashes for 1-2 weeks)
But tonight it kept happening, I played 1 round of Trials and boom, reconnected and saw one frame then boom, the game ends I rejoin my mates we wait for a while to see if its fine, start another game, crashes after seeing the first opponent loadout, reconnected and crashed instantly this time. I had enough but THEN we realized that I could still talk to my console mate (I was on PC, Discord with the other one) all the while my game was frozen, and on their games I was not connected anymore. Super weird.
After reconnecting I see that I'm timed out from competitive play so I give up for the night... Ended up here ranting and hoping I get some more help. Sorry for this mess of an article. Icing on the cake is that now my mic smells like ashes so I'm kinda scared.
