Season of The Haunted has been the worst PvP experience i have had so far.
SMG's are killing me faster at longer distances than i can shoot my handcannon. DMT is now everybody and their mom's favorite weapon. Restoration/campy/puss puss playstyle encouraged. Trials capture the flag on top of that, Iron Banner has been the worst experience so far as a solo player.
This Season is shaping up to be my worst season since Curse of Osiris DLC.
oh and SMG's need a nerf now don't care what anybody says, it is killing me faster than i can aim my sniper with snapshot sights

Lol wow, Destiny 2 pvp has been dominated by hand cannons/shotguns since the change from double primaries. Stop whining and maybe not challenge someone at close range who is using an SMG. Peak shoot, disengage from the fight if you have to, crutch cannons are no longer the top weapons. For once you can use almost anything and do well.

In my case it made pvp much more of an easier game.

When you have Halo, and Splitgate You have gun balance because of static play same loadouts for everyone. How often you see same loadouts in D2?
