Arc 3.0 is almost certainly totally built out at this point, so highly unlikely any new ideas get built in but I still want to drop some big wishlist items for the subclasses. You never know what gets seen / picked up! Drop other wishlist items below 👍
Arc is a weird identity rn so its hard to tell what will be carried forward or made new. And just to set the baseline, I think the previous 3.0 upgrades have been totally excellent. I'll try to keep expectations within what we've seen but imo Arc has been saved for last because it's already-existing identity is very thin. The closest things that I think exist near the 3.0 realm are Middle-tree Arcstrider and Bottom-tree Stormcaller. We'll build from there.
Verbs Wishlist:
- Id love to see the Arc identity be about building and releasing charge. Verbs are Charged, Disoriented, Chain, Ionic, Hastened / Accelerated.
- Charged will be a debuff that is inflicted by weapons / abilities. It sits on enemies and can be activated by abilities / weapon damage / some other third thing to either overcharge enemy senses and disorient them (a la Blinding nade) or released as Chain Lightning that Charges affected targets.
- Ionic is a buff that works like Charged in a positive way. Can be applied by class abilities or taking on an Ionic Trace. Release the charge by using an ability or doing....something to Hasten, which turbo charges movement and weapon handling and reload.
Arc Titan:

- Add Trample and Terminal Velocity as intrinsic behavior to Fist of Havoc.
- Keep Shoulder Charge, add new melee (Ballistic Charge?) that retains Ballistic Slam functionality but can also be used on-ground to burst forward into a big, electric punch.
- Aspect which grants Damage Resistance while Hastened and refunds melee energy when destroying debuffed enemies.
- Aspect that enhances Lightning, Pulse, and Flashbang grenades a la Touch of Flame / Winter.
- Aspect applies Hasten when passing through a Barricade and enhances Fist of Havoc if passing through while super is active.
Arc Hunter:
[b]Fantasy is like Monk / Kung Fu master[/b]
- Whirlwind Guard as basic functionality, restore aerial combo (its been like 4 years).
- I'll get the big one out of the way, NEW SUPER. No idea what this would look like but either a One-and-Done big Javelin throw that sticks in the ground like a Lightning grenade for a few seconds afterward Or copy/paste the Synaptic Spear..... hell, thats even a good super name.
- Update Tempest Strike visuals and maybe add second slam attack to apply charge > release charge in one action.
- Aspect to enable a Bakris-esque Shift when Ionic. Shifting through enemies Disorients them.
- Aspect that is basically all of Bottom-tree Arcstrider. Increase sprint speed, reduced cooldowns while sprinting, reduced cooldowns when shields break. Alternatively, all those nodes read like Fragments.
- Aspect which enhances Combination Blow to cooldown faster and Charge / Disorient with stronger effect.
Arc Warlock:
[b]Fantasy is Arc Soul being useful[/b]
- New Melee to get away from these rubberbanding sissy-slaps. Keep and enhance Ball Lightning a la Pocket Singularity. New melee could be a smaller stormtrance effect, maybe hold melee to release Force Lightning over 2-3 seconds.
- Landfall as intrinsic action to Stormtrance.
- Aspect that enables Rift to produce Arc Souls which can Charge enemies. Wrap Electromagnetic Surge in here to lengthen duration and reduce cooldown when surrounded by allies or enemies.
- Aspect to bring Arc Web forward, enhancing Chain Lightning and boosting the frequency and effect of Ionic Traces. Allies near enemies that get Charged become Ionic
- Aspect to enhance Pulse, Arcbolt, and Storm grenades with more functionality and wrap Transcendance into it.

I find it funny how 80% of the community agrees that hunters should get a new super with arc 3.0. Honestly, that was one of the few parts of the forsaken DLC that didnt felt good.
