With pulses as a featured weapon on the artefact I got to thinking about the different archetypes and how they contend with one another. Considering almost every other archetype has a higher base range than that of cold denial I truly think it needs a range buff in order actually be a contender. While it has just been sold by xur this weekend with a solid roll I just wanted to make people aware just how much this weapon suffers in the range department. 14 zoom isn’t enough for the Lower ranged weapons to get past the 32 metres mark without crushing your stability stat that is now important bc of flinch changes. I know it’s an old weapon and barely anyone uses it however if given even the slightest bump in its zoom it could be a legitimate contender for a hi impact in the kinetic slot.
