Back during the black armory days, Ada-1 was a strong willed character who took pride in her weapons and was not afraid to stand up to the guardians. Her weapons were some of the most iconic in the game, and if not for sunsetting there would be a lot more hammerheads and blast furnaces running around still. Yet, after all the character development Bungie put into Ada-1, she vanished for several seasons just to be brought back as.....a seamstress. Hurray, she weaves clothes for the guardians!!!! Oh, and the job of forging weapons....that will now be taken care of by a floating rock.
I hope that Bungie makes her relevant again. Have her take the technology of the dark pyramids and integrate it with the black forges and give us better ways of forging weapons. Grinding out red boxes is tedious and pointless. My materials are almost constantly maxed and the non-unlockable red boxes keep dropping. I don't need them. They should go back to the mini-quest style they used in black armory where it's a straight forward way to unlock your weapons, and then power up the forge to create it, or something along those lines.
And to go along with this new season of the armory, they can bring back Scourge of the Past for our legacy raid.

Destiny players know the game better than the devs

All weapons should just have the ability to be leveled up. Then just reshape those. Simple. Earn shaping mats by dismantling any weapon.

God. I miss my Blast Furnace, and Ringing Nail. That rifle was ridiculous. I had high caliber rounds and zen moment, stability masterwork, aaand I forget what the last perk was, but it was a hard hitting, world-destroyer laser beam. To this day in Destiny 2 I have not had a better auto rifle. The Last Wish auto is very close, also with Zen Moment, but still not quite there. All of those weapons were just their own high class in aesthetic and function. Ada is sassy and fiery and she's great. I'd love to get my Black Armory weapons back and listen to Ada talk about how dull-witted guardians are.

It probably cause thw voice actor is doing ff7 right now and she is probaly affordable and they dont want lose her.
-
Her character development was the greatest in a Bungie game. she went from outright despising us to being a Tsundere.
-
She should’ve been front and centre at the Enclave for all crafting. She should have provided weekly bounties that would award red framed weapons upon completion. Definitely a missed opportunity.
-
She actually says this in game. Something like “Years of crafting emasculate weapon… just to operate a glorified loom” or smth. Idk the exact words but I’ve heard it once or twice.
-
I find it funny that the piece of her head that we give her is just missing now. Like -blam!- I know she doesn’t like us but does that really justify de-brain surgerying herself?
-
Nah, just bring back original Mars with Anastasia as laundress. There's not a single laundromat in the Tower.
-
You're full of BS Ada even talks about how she was wrong about the forges and that they're beginning of something greater.
-
Bungie needs to at least bring the weapons back at some point with a partially updated perk list. Some of the best guns of all time. Hopefully that’s going to be the foundry “surprise” later this year Bungie was talking about b4 witch queen
-
Who forges they weapons now?

Edited by Snizzy2xtra: 6/22/2022 3:21:06 PMIt’s like a President working at Dollar General Never made sense and STILL doesn’t make sense whatsoever. How does one make some of the most powerful weapons then go into… yarn? They did her dirty, bet it’s not even the real Ada-1 I remember wouldn’t take that bs.

I agree with you idea Super great idea imo

Fr tho, Ada-1 was such a cool character back in the black armory. Amazing lore cool story dialogue and a badass mysterious background. This ada-1 is the most insulting rework i have ever seen.

They wanted to remove the forges but just made them disappear with really no good explanation. And with the forges gone they had to change Ada and just as they gave a poor reason for the forges disappearing they just forced her opinions to change. They forced it all none of it was natural

Lord Shaxx has to watch his favorite mode get destroyed by Bungie smh.
-
You mean ADA-2 , no we she didn't get a wipe
-
Edited by ExiIelegend: 6/22/2022 8:57:07 PMI’ve got a feeling we will get crafting for some of the black armory weapons at some point in the future. Bungie is lazy, but not stupid, and know they can sell these weapons in particular easily for a future season with the promise to be able to craft them.

Those wires are used for making ships and armor and weapons.
-
She was a bitter little -blam!-. Now she's nice.
-
I don’t see the problem here. It’s not like she was actually OUT FIGHTING similar to Ikora Rey or Suraya Hawthorne. She just made weapons. She creates. Just because her product is now different doesn’t mean she’s somehow worse off. She still hangs out in the tower, subtly flirting with us and singing in French. Works for me <3
-
Thematically she was holding on to something she had limited memory of, and in the end learned where she came from. She was essentially living somebody else’s life. She no longer wanted to make weapons of destruction and now weaves clothing. She is under utilized, but I don’t think it means the character is weaker for the role they want for themselves. I believe Ada-1 is every bit as capable of standing up to anyone if she feels threatened.
-
Lore wise it was more then just fashion She’s making stronger armor for guardians
-
Love it when she says Au revoir either way.
