Heavy and Special Ammo Synthesis!
Who else believes these should be brought back? Ammo Synthesis 2.0!!!
-
Honestly I feel like we don't really need them, if people for whatever reason really really want them then whatever let them have it I guess
-
Just have a permanent heavy finisher on yellow bar enemies/champions, we already have special ammo finisher, make it 6 energy cost class item exclusive, requires 1/2 of super to generate a heavy brick
-
They don't need to bring the synths back they just need to buff the ammo finder mod. Idk about anyone else but I can go one damage phase with full power anything after that and I legit get no power to drop until either the boss is at like 10% or the boss is dead....or if I unequip ghorn to switch to witherhoard. Heck I find more ammo without the mod so what's the point in having it?
-
Because camping in a corner for 5 minutes waiting for synths was good for the game? Hard pass. Give more raid banner spots.
-
Then remove rally flags? I'm sure they have rally flags, so they have the content balanced for no synthesis.
-
How can anyone even think "could care less" is what they actually mean? "couldn't care less" is what you're looking for. If you could care less, that means you care at least to some degree, since you could care less.
-
The people calling for heavy ammo synths are the same people that played doom eternal and said the game was bad because ammo wasn’t just sitting on the floor. Classy restoration and resilience makes lament viable in so much content atm and stormchaser has turned best in slot DPS in to a 1 button potato option. if you still can’t manage ammo in how easy this system is might be time to go back to playing strikes….
-
nah. im fine on heavy. ive never thought i needed a synth ever. Heavy is always full, especially now that machine guns are part of my regular kit. Banners are in almost in every endgame activity. And if you struggle with getting heavy? Aeons Swift, one of the most underrated exotics
-
Aren’t banners practically the same thing at this point
-
Edited by zombdestroyer: 6/14/2022 4:16:32 PMRally flag does effectively the same thing. D1 style ammo synth would be totally OP in this. The only thing preventing it from totally breaking D1 was no rally flag (so you usually had to use it after a wipe or before an encounter instead of during one)
-
God no, equip some ammo finder mods and scavenger mods and you are good to go. Also for every encounter we now have rally flags. We do not need this garbage to come back
-
No thanks, the unlimited primary ammo is making players spraying and praying, i would hate to see something similar with heavy ammo.
-
They could add more banner drop locations.
-
Edited by zxionisus: 6/14/2022 3:27:57 PMIt hasn’t been necessary in my experience. I equip the mods relevant to a particular heavy, which provides ample supply of ammo. Having played since Christmas 2014 D1, I believe this system is much better than the former, where you had to load up on heavy synths before raiding or even going out into the wild.
-
Yes I believe they should be brought back. The truth be told they should of never been removed. Having a rally flag for certain activities is a good idea. Having special or heavy synth is good for the player as it allows for additional loadout options(ie double special weapons) or quicker boss melts because you can restock your heavy between boss phases.
-
No icebreaker option 😥
-
-blam!- ammo synths. Just make ammo drop more consistently.
-
How is it gonna work. They gotta remove rally banners then. I think it’s better the current way.
-
To what we have now, they would be useless. Ammo finders increase your chance of finding ammo for that gun type and rally banners topping off all your ammo and fill your super.
-
No. There's already enough crap filling up my inventory. Use your unlimited ammo primary.
-
Edited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 6/14/2022 12:53:48 AMI hate to say this, but we have rally banners and ammo finders , synths are not needed Waiting 5 minutes to start an encounter is obsolete
-
Though it would be a good idea, it would truly break the game. Also it would make everything super easy. But it would be cool.
-
They're not necessarily required, but it would be nice to see them return.
-
Have it disabled during gambit and maybe grandmaster but not master raid
