Since the Crimson Days' departure it has left a huge hole in my heart and every year the community laments it's loss. I wanted to post my latest draft on the forums here as well since I have been getting great feedback on Twitter and Reddit. Without further adieu here is the third draft for a revised Crimson Days: [i]My proposal for a revised Crimson Days includes a new playlist to expand the seasonal event to beyond the Crucible. Lord Shaxx will still be the Crimson Days event vendor. Players can speak with him to pick up Crimson Days bounties, and purchase event rewards with Confectionery Hearts. Additional items will be available in the Eververse Store, including a new armor ornament set that can be purchased with Silver or Bright Dust. To allow players more time to earn rewards the event will be longer than past versions expanding to 2-3 weeks.[/i] [b]Crimson Days: Vanguard Ops[/b] -Fireteams of 2 -Increased ability regeneration when in proximity to ally; a.k.a. Reunited. -When a player's teammate is defeated in combat. For a short time, the surviving player is granted significantly increased ability regeneration, and receives a small portion of their health back; a.k.a. Vengeance. -Bounties that earn Confectionery Hearts. -Matches reward Confectionery Hearts. -Weekly Bright Dust and Pinnacle drop rewards. [b]Crimson Days: Crucible Doubles[/b] -Fireteams of 2 -Return of the Reunited, Falling Apart, and Vengeance buffs/debuffs. -Bounties that earn Confectionery Hearts. -Matches reward Confectionery Hearts. -Weekly Bright Dust and Pinnacle drop rewards. [b]Rewards: Lord Shaxx[/b] Rewards through Lord Shaxx can be purchased using Confectionery Hearts, which are earned through completing bounties and matches in the Crimson Days playlists. New Rewards include: -A new emblem linked to a triumph (together_forever). -Two new shaders (roaring_embers) + (for_love). -A new Exotic Armor ornament for Mechaneer's Tricksleeves (fastlane_professional). -A new Exotic Armor ornament for Icefall Mantle (cracked_boulder). -A new Exotic Armor ornament for Starfire Protocol (clear_skies_ahead). -A new legendary stasis scout rifle (no_warmth). Previous years' rewards such as the Undeterred Sparrow and the combat bow The Vow will be available at a discounted price. [b]Rewards: Tess Everis[/b] Additional seasonal items can be purchased from the Eververse store. New items include: -A new weapon ornament for the Devil's Ruin sidearm (gilded_inferno). -A new armor ornament set available for purchase with Bright Dust or Silver. (heartfelt_armor_set). -Three new emotes. Two rare (fingergun_flurry) + (ASL_iloveyou) and one legendary (back_to_back). [b]Triumphs:[/b] Also returning to Crimson Days are various triumphs. Some of these challenges will reward bright dust and one will unlock a new emblem (together_forever).
