So I want to preface this post by saying that this character isn't strictly new, I just started playing on them recently...and that's where the crux of the interest rests.
I made this Warlock waaaaaay back during Warmind- I never played through the intro of the game, though, I was...'saving it for later', so to speak. The campaign was never repayable in D2, so I wanted to wait for a good moment to experience it again. The Red War is a story I liked (and one that I miss).
Wellll...that moment never really came. I kinda had a falling-out with D2 after the Seasons format got started. I stopped playing for a while.
Recently though, my friends got me back into the game and we all wondered- now that the intro has been changed to New Light...what would happen if we started playing on my Warlock?
The attached image is the result of that. My warlock started with all of her Subclasses unlocked, defaulting to Solar. I was also able to permanently keep a copy of the Undamaged Traveler's Chosen (the non exotic version) but I'm not able to store it in the vault or transfer it off the character. In order to prevent potentially losing the weapon, I got the damaged version out of the vault and put it on the character, in case whatever was in my primary slot was deleted when I picked up the Khovostov (I'm obsessed with keepsakes). I have a screenshot of the undamaged pistol if anyone wants to see. Speaking of the Khovostov, though- when I picked it up, it dropped at 1375 instead of 1350, which was the base at the time.
As you can see, I also have the undamaged version of the warlock armor from the red war intro, which now lives happily in my vault.
The reason the Warlock has an exotic ghost equipped is because I used the Destiny App to transfer the ghost over when I originally started the character in order to get an undamaged copy of the Last City shell, which to my knowledge was unobtainable by other means before collections was introduced.
I have been playing D2 for awhile and haven't got rid of a lot of my old stuff. I have some other oddities as a result. If anyone is interested in seeing them, feel free to comment.

Here's the Khovostov, as well! Almost a cursed image
